"We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are."

Perception is clouded, coloured, and dictated by the person perceiving. The sky is the floor to a child doing a handstand. Mice are food to a snake. The world around us is clay, being molded and shaped by our hands. Hands that create both beauty and terribleness. Things are not how they seem, because the way they seem is purely false, based on our lives, hidden in the corners of our dark minds. We live our lives trapped in lies; the lies we tell ourselves and the lies others tell us. There is no truth or reality, and the solid ground we think is under our feet can disappear at any time. Our lives are cloaked in shadows, concealing everything from our view, causing us to bump into things and hurt ourselves. Peception is clouded by life.
