A Wild World -- A Children's Poem

Grass of green and skies of orange

Purple clouds like fluffy cats

Hot like ice and cold as a forge

Pools of flowers like colourful mats

A wild world full of life

Glow worms and fireflies

Playing music from a fife

And lighting up the orange skies

Flowers nod and chat away

Trees shelter elves and faeries

Everything has something to say

Drinking nectar and munching berries

Sky turns purple and stars appear

The wild world now goes to sleep

The stars watch over everything here

Alongside the moon in the sky so deep
